Folks think that school funding is the governments responsibility - TRUE
If schools are hurting, but it's the governments responsibility to fix it, we're in big trouble. Somehow this idea that the government will fix schools is causing a lot of problems. I don't know how to explain it, except to say that to believe that it's not our responsibility makes it not our responsibility.
Meanwhile, kids suffer.
