I'm gonna be upfront with you. People don't really like fundraising.
They don't like being told to give money. Fundraising confronts people with charitable giving and not everyone is up for it. This past Fall, a drunk guy fired a gun at a fundraising football team after buying a discount card from them (story). I'm not sure exactly what that was all about, but the point is...
Fundraising should be more relevant. So, it's your turn!

I would very much like to hear your first-hand suggestions of what people would really want to purchase or support through a school fundraiser. Is there a fundraising item you think people really need? Is there a service folks would flock to if you were to offer it? What could a fundraising company offer that would be the next big thing?
Let me know! You just could be the catalyst for true change in the fundraising industry!
Ok, until next time!
