Quite a debate going on over here and you should check it out. Lot's of interesting comments and discussion about school budgets and fundraising is mentioned quite a bit.
Why this is ironic to a fundraising person reading this is that we know something the group here doesn't.
Not everyone parent supports the fundraising at schools despite their affluence. The extras that the school are able to offer and now count on are not based on affluence at all, but rather generosity.
I'll have to get into this more at another time but I wanted to give you a chance to read some of the comments. Let me know what you get out of it.
