Powerful Time Management Skills
Do you watch the clock, always acutely aware of the time and your next appointment? Not everyone is this type of individual, but if you are, utilizing planners, calendars and to-do lists may benefit you.If you are more of an intuitive person, you may need to take a different approach to managing your time edging away at larger projects.
Regardless, you can improve your time management using just a few key principals:
1) Planning - Make a list. If you plan in advance and prioritize, you will have a much better chance at getting things done effectively.
2) Focus your efforts - One of the biggest time wasters is checking inboxes, voice mail and cell phones for updates, tweets and wall posts. If you focus on completing one task before moving on to another, you'll gain back a tremendous amount of wasted time.
3) Switch it up - If you always approach your to-do list with vigor, going straight down the list, try picking a high-priority task and edging away at it. If you're a big project type person, try knocking some small tasks off a to-do list. Sometimes, just changing your approach from time-to-time ushers in creativity and gets more done!
Hopefully you've enjoyed that one. Lots of time management articles posted online so just google it if you feel it's got you thinking.
Ok, until next time!
