Google Wave didn't work as planned though and will not be a communication tool for teachers and administrators to either inform or allow personal development for educators to polish their skills.
Just keep in mind moving forward that schools need help in a big way. Anything that can help streamline or otherwise improve education is greatly needed and technology can provide this improvement.
With technology comes improvements galore to most industries and education is no different. Let's support communicative and collaborative tools as it comes to education wherever possible.
Hopefully the next big thing will be the one that changes the way we learn.
